Welcome
I chose "La Luna" as my practice name because I love working with the full continuum of life, I think of it as the phases of the moon.

I have been a licensed massage therapist since 2005, a massage doula since 2010, and a hospice massage volunteer since 2002.

I draw on all my trainings, from traditional Swedish massage and deep tissue to Reiki and LomiLomi to form my own unique style and approach to massage which I most like to think of as deeply satisfying and complete.

I believe in the power and importance of not only touch but safe and healthy touch. In my practice I am always feeling for the deeper meaning and acknowledge the truth in everything being connected.

I am thrilled to be embarking on my doula journey. I bring with me personal experience as a VBAC mama and am passionate about working with and supporting other VBAC mamas. I find that massage and doula work go hand in hand. As a doula I have been known to massage a laboring mama for hours as I use my skills as a massage therapist to assist a mama with pain relief and coping throughout the duration of labor.

When not practicing massage or attending a birth you can find me running on the trail along Bellingham Bay, doing yoga in my living room, spending time with my 2 kids (ages 5 and 9), and preparing vegan, gluten-free,  raw meals that I am determined to tempt my kids with!
